Ryan D Herrington, MD, MPH

Dr. Ryan Herrington is double board-certified in Public Health and Addiction Medicine. Having worked in correctional systems in Florida, Maine, Vermont, Ohio and Washington state, he is both a seasoned correctional clinician and an experienced healthcare administrator. In addition, he has solid understanding of the legal concepts of negligence and deliberate indifference.

 

Dr. Herrington has served as an expert witness in plaintiff and defense cases for over a decade and is experienced in both depositions and trial appearances. He strives to use a sound and consistent methodology when analyzing a case; his reports are accurate, thorough and effective at communicating his opinions and educating the triers of fact. 

 

Patricia H David, MD, MSPH, CPPS

Dr. David is DMS' correctional medicine and patient safety expert.
Dr. Patricia David is founder and managing director of David Medical Services, PLLC. She is dual residency trained in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. She holds an additional master’s degree in public health, and a certificate in Patient Safety and Leadership from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Certified Professional in Patient Safety through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
Over the last 30 years, she has worked in a variety of health care settings across the country, from large health systems, military clinics, HMOs, state agencies, and her own private practice.  With this clinical and administrative experience, she leverages her knowledge and skills to help clients identify patient safety concerns, develop strategies to enhance health care quality, and improve patient outcomes. Since 1999, state agencies, attorneys, and other third-party entities have turned to Dr. David for her ability to objectively review complex cases, analyze data, formulate recommendations, and produce clear, well written reports.
